2010 “GO BIG” CAMP!

Thank you to all who came out and made the 2010 Go Big Camp a success!

A special thank you goes out to Sahuaro High School and their staff!

There were over 120 young people that attended the camp and had a great time playing and learning!

The day started off with a good warm-up lead by Derek Kennard Jr. Founder of Pro-Edge Performance Training, www.proedgeperformancetraining.com

The participants were then split into groups according to their age and began a three hour workout/training session. Some learned fundamentals of football and while others honed in on specific skills. They all had the opportunity to learn from NFL star Bobby Wade.

At the end of the day they all sat down and Bobby took a moment to speak with them about being faced with choices, making good decisions, and consequences that follow. This is the formula taught during the Wade Family Foundation’s “Right Choice” inititive speeches.

Thank you for the great time and the wonderful clinic. The message from Bobby and his bother where right on. In addition the taking to participants about work ethic and CDC was again right. I am proud to have been able to support and host this event.

My son participated in the “Go Big” camp at Sahuaro High School last Saturday. He really enjoyed it and learned a lot. I thought that the camp was well-run and a very positive experience.

I just wanted to sincerely thank you for a great turnout and wonderful camp you had for the kids. My son, Amaru, had a blast and he was so thrilled to meet Bobby Wade and run drills with the other kids. I think it is a wonderful thing Bobby is doing for the kids and it is a testament to the kind of individual he is and what The U of A has produced.

My son attended the “GO BIG” camp tonight at Sahuaro HS and I must say that I was very impressed!! The positive messages and time that were poured into these kids is greatly appreciated! Thank you Bobby and all of your staff that put this on!!

I am a Sauharo Varsity football player and I want to Thank You for the great experience I had at your camp today. I really enjoyed working with all the kids and truly appreciate the time you spent with us. The other players and I are very greatful for the gifts you gave us, I am looking forward to seeing you next week.

Speaking as a member of the Sahuaro Cougars Football family I want to say what an outstanding event the Wade Family Foundation put on. Mr. Wade was very hands on with all of the participants during the skills and conditioning camp. But perhaps more importantly he and his brother’s motivational and inspirational speeches to the participants afterwards surely changed some lives, I know they changed mine.
