Our Mission
The Wade Family Foundation was created by professional football star Bobby Wade and family with the specific purpose and intent of offering children and families the opportunity to learn, play, and experience the important lessons taught through athletics. Athletics help youth develop the basic life values of dedication, hard work commitment and personal integrity. The Wade family believes it is important that all families regardless of their social or economic status have the opportunity to participate and learn these lessons.
OUR MISSION: Sponsor and support programs designed to improve the environment, social awareness and self confidence of disadvantaged urban and rural youth.
Camps and Initiatives
“GO BIG” CAMPS- are designed for youth to learn the techniques, dedication, and secrets of sports from today’s top professional athletes. Camp categories include: football, basketball, golf, tennis, baseball, etc.
“The Right Choice” Initiative- is designed to educate youth about the importance of making the right choice and decision when confronted with certain life situations.
S.M.A.R.T.R. Initiative- provides support to trauma patients and their families during and after trauma recovery. Key components of the initiative include mentoring and counseling individuals and families dealing with traumatic injuries, as well as providing referrals to outside agencies and organizations that specialize in specific support programs.
Healthy America Initiative- designed to educate youth about the importance of daily exercise, a healthy diet, and how these factors lead to productive lives.
